Bespoke Jewellery; A Timeless Oval Diamond Trilogy Ring
The concept of a trilogy ring was born from the idea of looking from the past to the present to the future, either as a dress ring or an engagement ring. In this particular case we were tasked to hand make an all diamond trilogy engagement ring as they had been together for a long time, childhood sweethearts. They are obviously very much together in the present and what she doesn't know yet is that he wants to spend all his future with her.
From an aesthetic point of view a diamond trilogy ring is very elegant as often the side diamonds are a smaller size so the graduation leads your eye in to the centre, a big diamond or coloured gemstone. We normally recommend seating the diamonds in a white metal, our favourite is platinum because its harder wearing than white gold and a white metal enhances the whiteness of the diamonds. Et Voila! A graduated oval diamond trilogy ring handmade in platinum and gold.
